Fall is one of my favorite seasons!! The colours that absolutely pop are just so vibrant and never last long enough!! Going for hikes in the Fall is my favorite!! There is nothing like the beauty of nature to appreciate life, even in the hard times!! There is something about a stormy sky in the Fall with all the colours in the foreground and the dark ominous sky in the background!!
Hell, I don’t even mind raking leaves!! But it is always a lot more exercise than you expect it to be. I always have big ideas of raking our whole yard and bagging them all in one day and then realize it is a lot more work than it looks like…lol!!
Anyways, these are a few of the photos I have taken over the years at Fall time!! As someone that also enjoys photography a fair bit, I thought it might be fun to share some of these photos with you!!

Great pictures!!! Fall is my favorite time of year…the start of the color change, the change in weather, building fires, the holidays… love it ❤

Agreed!! The fall colours are coming out nicely right now!! I want to get out and go for a hike soon!! The window for good fall pictures is always really small!! All it takes is a good strong wind and a lot of them come down!! Thanks for your suggestion that it is okay to share some non-spanking posts from time to time!!

That is one nice thing about northern California weather… we typically get a fall season that last at least a month, full of beautiful colors. I am landscaping our front yard right now and planting lots of fall-friendly foliage. I can’t wait to see what it looks like next year. Have a GREAT day! XOXO

I have never been to California!! The weather does seem much like we get in South Western Ontario to be honest!! I love the seasons here!! Okay, I love most of the seasons here…lol!! I don’t love winter so much!! Although, if it isn’t cold and snowy around Christmas, it just doesn’t seem right!! There is just a kind of magic of coming out in an evening and seeing snow falling from the sky in December that I can’t help thinking of Christmas!! I am sure I will be posting on that when the time comes!! Christmas holds a special place in my heart!!
But yes, fall is great!! I like fall décor too!! Pumpkins and fall wreaths!! There is just so much to like about fall!! You have a GREAT day too Nora!! Cheers my friend!!
